Tandem Parachuting takes place in Barra da Tijuca area, at the Jacarepaguá Airport, located on the west side of the city just 30 minutes from Copacabana.

Before jumping, a twin engine airplane takes you for a 15 minutes panoramic flight, over the beaches and mountains of Rio. The free fall starts from an altitude of 4000 meters (13120 feet) and takes about 45 seconds before the instructor opens the parachute. Maximum speed achieved can reach up to 200 kilometers (125 miles) per hour. No previous experience is required.

Tour Duration: From 3 to 6 hours
